Carolina Homeschooler was created in 2004 to increase communication and support for South Carolina's third option homeschoolers. We started out as a support group and have recently expanded to provide membership services as mandated by Section 59-65-47 of the SC Code of Laws.

Our membership services focus on providing an interactive online community for students and parents. Our plans include optional educational workshops, projects, classes, and field trips that will encourage a collaborative learning environment for students, as well as a supportive community for parents. Whether you need us only for legal coverage, or want to participate fully in our online (and offline) community, we hope you'll consider joining us for the 2013-2014 school year.

Membership is not required for homeschoolers who want to join us only for our group trips to Washington DC, Disney World, etc. We often have families from across the United States and Canada on our trips.
